Board of Civil Authority
Dummerston's Board of Civil Authority is comprised of the currently serving Selectboard members, Justices of the Peace, and the Town Clerk. The Board is responsible for hearing and adjudicating property assessment grievances when the property owner appeals the Listers' decision. They also maintain the Town's voter checklist and participate in all phases of the Town's election process - including staffing the polling place and counting the ballots.
