Each year the Dummerston Selectboard appoints a Social Services Advisory Committee (SSAC), consisting of six to eight Dummerston residents, to review applications for funding from social service agencies in order to make recommendations to the Selectboard for consideration in the preparation of the Town budget, for approval at Town Meeting. One of the expectations of the SSAC is to be knowledgeable of services needed and provided to Dummerston residents, while keeping in mind budgetary limitations of Dummerston residents.

The SSAC reviews funding each October and makes recommendations to the Selectboard in November. Committee members include: Sandra Campbell, Teri Robinson, Libby Lafland, Nancy Pelz-Walsh, Amy Wall, Cami Elliott. Dummerston residents interested in joining the SSAC, or learning more about the committee, should contact the Town office for more information.
